Whether we’re producing a 30 second spot, a corporate marketing video or a documentary, everything starts with an idea. The production process is all about taking that idea and merging our creative and technical skills to create an effective presentation that impacts viewers.

Pre-Production
This first step involves planning and development. Working closely with the client, we discuss what we want the video to achieve, the kind of information it will impart and the impact we want it to have. This brainstorming process and exchange of ideas helps us define the purpose and goals of the production. It also ensures we’re all on the same page, before any shooting begins.

Production
Nearly all our productions take place on-location, that means we are shooting at
“real” places.  During the production stage, all the visual content is captured on tape, including interviews and other elements necessary to help tell the story. When shooting is complete, the footage is transcribed and a script is developed.

Editing
Editing is where all the creative decisions come together and shape how the story will flow. In the edit suite, we blend production elements including graphics, music, still photos, narration and effects to create a powerful and effective piece. 

Post-Production
Depending on the final format our clients want, we will encode, master, author and duplicate the video for delivery on DVD, CD and/or the Web.
